Expect some variation with block-printed items, and particularly with white ink that can be a bit more tricky! Hand-printed garments are a bit more delicate than machine-printed ones, but when washed sparingly in cold water, the ink will hold up for a very long time.
Hang to dry for the most longevity and to avoid shrinking the cotton. Expect the ink to soften and a small amount of the pigment to wash out during the first wash.
