So Many Birds - organic and botanically dyed

$45.00
sold out

This soft organic cotton bandana was botanically dyed here in our workshop. It has four hemmed edges and is hand printed with a pattern made up of crows, turkey vultures, hawks, and condors.

Hand-printed and dyed garments are a bit more delicate than machine-made ones, but when washed sparingly in cold water, the ink will hold up for a very long time. The tan color of the bandana comes from a botanical dye called quebracho which is made from tree tannins. Hang to dry indoors for the most longevity and to avoid shrinking the cotton. Expect the black ink to soften and a small amount of the pigment to wash out during the first wash.
