This is a 100% cotton Delta Soft brand tee in unisex sizing, printed by hand on our street, using a manhole cover as the block! The design is on the front of the shirt. Check out our Instagram for videos of the process.
Expect some variation with block-printed items, and particularly with white ink that can be a bit more tricky! Hand-printed garments are a bit more delicate than machine-printed ones, but when washed sparingly in cold water, the ink will hold up for a very long time. Wash inside out when possible, and dry at a low temperature.
The manhole cover shirts have been washed after printing, to test ink-fastness, after the unconventional printing method.
**Since we take the “drains to creek” message seriously, we diligently cleaned the ink from the metal afterwards and absorbed all of the soapy water with a towel to take home!
