Expect some variation with block printed items. Hand printed garments are a bit more delicate than machine printed ones, but when washed sparingly in cold water, the ink will hold up for a very long time. Wash inside out when possible, and dry at a low temperature.
The manhole cover shirts have been washed after printing, to test ink-fastness, after the unconventional printing method.
**Since we take the “drains to creek” message seriously, we diligently cleaned the ink from the metal afterwards and absorbed all of the soapy water with a towel to take home!
