This is a short video of one of my first experiments with the acetone transfer method. I actually really love this method, though I have a much more involved process for larger or more complex images. It DOES require a laser printer since the acetone won’t work to transfer regular ink, just toner. It is also for SOFT BLOCK carving materials and will not work well on trad grey lino.
Please know these are informal short tutorials mainly made for my Patreon. So they are casual, unedited, perhaps a bit meandering, and this is also why they are just a few bucks for a quick tip!
If you’d like a preview of part of the video, or if you’d like to check out the full list of all of my tutorials available on Patreon please go have a look! For as little as $5 per month you will get access to my members only shop page and whatever the little prize or discount code Is for the month, and you can upgrade to my $10 tier to gain access to all of my short printmaker videos <3
